Hi, I'm Tonya!
Nicknamed "Tani" as a child, I'm an up and coming photographer located in Brockton, MA. Originally from TX, my journey to New England started with love!
I graduated from the University of Texas Austin (Hook 'Em Horns!) with a degree in Anthropology but I always leaned towards the arts. Moving to Dallas allowed me to flourish artistically. I studied Fashion Design at the University of North Texas where I took the most intensive art classes. I started with "at home" photo shoots and honed my editing skills, practicing and learning but never fully dived in UNTIL NOW!
Years later, I moved to NYC to become a couture Fashion Designer at Chanel which never happened lol. However, I ended up working for then Mayor Bloomberg where I met my now husband under the Brooklyn Bridge. Turns out he was a Teacher at Brockton's East Jr. High.
My children inspired my photography journey.
Trying to get two unruly monsters dressed and ready to go, keeping them clean, putting them in car and going to 15 minute mini sessions. Ugh, I couldn't take it anymore.

Patience and time are a major key in getting amazing photos and letting their little personalities shine! It should not be rushed.
I'm an introvert at heart.
Even though I'm shy, photography has opened my world and gotten me out of my comfort zone! A little quirky and a lot short (4'11" - you'll see on my ladder quite often), I create a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Headshots: An artform on its own; started with my son, "the Actor".
